By sheer luck, or perhaps fate, world-renowned detective Hercule Poirot finds himself headed home to London aboard the legendary train when a man is found stabbed in his bed. After the Orient Express is halted by a snowdrift, it falls to the detective to investigate a train full of remarkable suspects, each with their own intriguing alibi. Will he be able to separate fact from fiction, or is there something more at stake than simply finding the truth?
