formal auditions will be on Saturday March 1st.
Students wishing to apply to wcspa must complete the application and audition process.
On audition day, enter through Door #7 on the west side of the building.
Step 1: Get Ready to Audition
Students and guardians should read through the Audition Process below and rehearse/practice their audition before March 11th. Students will present a 1-minute monologue, a short dance combination, sing a segment of a song, and meet the WCSPA staff. More specific information can be found below.
Step 2: Fill Out the Audition Application

Step 3: Sign Up for Audition Time Slot
Click below and pick a 1-hour time slot that works best for you. There is a max of 18 people per 1-hour time slot. If all times are full, please check back the next day, as more times will be added.
Step 4: Practice for the Audition
Acting: Monologue:
Select and prepare a monologue from a published play, or choose one of the two monologues provided below. Please keep the monologue somewhere between 30 seconds and 1 minute in length.
Students are encouraged to memorize their monologue (it’ll enhance acting and interpretation), but it is not required.

Dancing:
Students will learn a short dance combination on the day of the audition. No prior dance skill is required.
Our dance teacher and current WCSPA students will teach the dance combination. Auditioners will perform it in small groups. You do not need to bring dance shoes to the audition, but wear clothes you can move in.
Singing:
Students will be asked to sing along to a song provided. You do not need to memorize the song. You can have the music in your hand while singing.

Step 5: Show Up!
Enter through Door #7 on the west side of the building.
When you arrive, follow the signs to the check-in table. Parents/Guardians can wait near the check-in table until you are done. The entire process will take about an hour. Students and staff will direct you once you check-in.
Admission Decisions
Admission decisions will be made just before WCS school’s Spring Break. Students will be notified by email whether or not they have been accepted.
Counselors will be mailed a list of all students accepted into the program for next year. Students accepting their spots should discuss their schedules with their high school counselor.
Students who do not get in are encouraged to re-audition the following year.
